Protecting your belongings is very important to Allstate Moving Systems. You’ve worked hard to buy them and when it comes time to move your valued possessions, you want everything handled carefully to reduce any risk of damage.
Part of your protection is the selection of valuation options from Allstate. You will be offered two options for placing a value on your shipment. The value that you select sets the limit of your mover’s maximum liability for any loss or damage to your goods.
Allstate Shipment Protection Options Include:
Option 1 – Full-Value Protection
This option provides protection for your belongings up to the amount of coverage you declare. This coverage has three deductible options:
- Zero Deductible
- $250 Deductible
- $500 Deductible
The final charge is based upon the value you declare and the deductible option you select.
Option 2 – Released Rate Liability
With this type of valuation, Allstate’s maximum liability for loss or damage to each item in the shipment is limited to 60 cents per pound per item.
This is the basic liability level and is provided at no charge.
For complete information, ask an Allstate representative. Additional information on coverage is also available in your copy of “Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move,” Appendix A6.
